Some of my favorites are The Road and Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Don't listen to the end of The Road in public! Also I love the Librevox Shakespeare stuff. Try "War And Peace". Seriously. The audio book is +60 hours it will keep you busy for a long time. Get the version narrated by Frederick something or something Frederick I forget which but he's great.
